Job Summary
Assistant Security Director to manage a security contract at Springfield Town Center with accountability for supervisors and staff, performance, service and budget of assigned contracts. Lead security operations including post orders, rounds, incident reporting, and liaison with local police and fire departments. Responsibilities emphasize developing security procedures, ensuring life safety practices, maintaining safety and professionalism, training guards, and delivering high-quality customer service to clients and stakeholders. Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills required; duties include staff development, reporting, compliance with safety regulations, and coordinating with management to optimize security coverage across sites.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma and/or equivalent; Associates Degree.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 2 years prior experience in loss prevention, life safety, CCTV systems and access computer system.
- One year (1 yr.) of which must be in the capacity of a management position within the Security Industry.
- Valid Driver’s License
- Complete all licensing requirements as mandated by the State.
- DCJS License # 11-5200
- CPR and First Aid Certification a plus.
