Job Summary
Assistant Security Director at Springfield Town Center responsible for managing a security contract, supervising Supervisors and staff, and overseeing performance, service, and budget for assigned accounts. Establishes and maintains relationships with local police and fire departments, facility staff, and clients. Develops and implements security procedures and compliance with life-safety standards; ensures post orders are followed, conducts regular rounds, and maintains reports/logs. Provides leadership, training, and development for Security Officers, communicates account performance to the Operations manager, and supports payroll and personnel administration. Requires strong organizational, leadership, and customer-service skills, with extensive knowledge of facility layout, CCTV systems, life safety, and security operations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma and/or equivalent
- Associates Degree
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 2 years prior experience in loss prevention, life safety, CCTV systems and access computer system
- One year (1 yr.) of which must be in the capacity of a management position within the Security Industry
- Valid Driver’s License
- Complete all licensing requirements as mandated by the State
- CPR and First Aid Certification a plus
