Job Summary
Assistant Security Director to manage a Security contract at Springfield Town Center; responsibilities include leading Supervisors and staff, overseeing performance, service and budget of assigned contracts, establishing relationships with local police and fire departments, developing and enforcing security procedures, coordinating training, payroll, reporting, and ensuring safety and compliance across posts, staffing plans, and client-facing operations. Requires leadership, budgeting, security operations knowledge (life safety, CCTV systems, post orders), background checks, and a valid driver’s license. Salary around $59,000 with opportunities for compliance and staff development.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma and/or equivalent; Associates Degree
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 2 years prior experience in loss prevention, life safety, CCTV systems and access computer system
- One year (1 yr.) of which must be in the capacity of a management position within the Security Industry
- Valid Driver’s License
- Complete licensing requirements as mandated by the State
- CPR and First Aid Certification a plus
