Job Summary
Assistant Security Director to assist in managing a security contract at Springfield Town Center. Responsible for supervising Supervisors and staff, managing performance, service, and budget for assigned contracts, and maintaining a safe environment for employees and visitors. Build working relationships with local police and fire departments and facility representatives. Establish and enforce security procedures, post orders, and ensure completion of rounds and timely reporting. Lead training for Security Officers and Shift Leads, coordinate payroll and personnel information, and ensure compliance with safety and security policies. Develop staffing plans, recruit and hire personnel, and drive continuous improvement through client collaboration and best practices. Coordinate with Operations management on account performance and maintain professional, client-focused communications.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma and/or equivalent
- Associates Degree
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 2 years prior experience in loss prevention, life safety, CCTV systems and access computer system
- One year (1 yr.) of which must be in the capacity of a management position within the Security Industry
- Valid Driver’s License
- Complete all licensing requirements as mandated by the State
- CPR and First Aid Certification a plus
