Job Summary
Assistant Security Director role responsibilities include leading and directing security operations for a contract at Springfield Town Center, managing accountability and performance of Supervisors and staff, overseeing budget and service delivery, establishing and maintaining relationships with local police and fire departments, ensuring compliance with safety and security policies, and developing security procedures and staffing plans. The position requires managing post orders, reporting, training of security personnel, coordinating with clients, and sustaining high standards of professionalism and customer service. Candidates should bring leadership experience in security operations, knowledge of life safety and CCTV, staff development skills, budgeting and payroll collaboration, and a track record of building effective teams and ensuring regulatory and company policy compliance. Additional qualifications include strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, ability to adapt to multiple sites, and licensing requirements adherence; DCJS License #11-5200; CPR/First Aid a plus.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma and/or equivalent; Associates Degree.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 2 years prior experience in loss prevention, life safety, CCTV systems and access computer system.
- One year (1 yr.) of which must be in the capacity of a management position within the Security Industry.
- Valid Driver’s License
- Complete all licensing requirements as mandated by the State.
- CPR and First Aid Certification a plus.
