Job Summary
Assistant Security Director to assist in managing a security contract; oversees accountability of Supervisors and staff; responsible for performance, service and budget; establish relationships with local police and fire departments, facility reports and others; lead in development and implementation of security procedures and safety programs; ensure post orders, rounds, and reports are filed; coordinate training and staff development; manage payroll and personnel information; ensure compliance with life safety systems and regulatory requirements; requires strong leadership, client-facing communication, scheduling, and ability to oversee multiple sites.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma and/or equivalent; Associates Degree
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 2 years prior experience in loss prevention, life safety, CCTV systems and access computer system
- One year (1 yr.) of which must be in the capacity of a management position within the Security Industry
- Valid Driver’s License
- Complete all licensing requirements as mandated by the State
- CPR and First Aid Certification a plus
