Job Summary
Assistant Security Director role focusing on managing security contracts at client sites. Responsible for supervising Supervisors and staff, ensuring performance, service, and budget compliance for assigned contracts. Lead security operations, enforce post orders, develop and implement security procedures, and maintain knowledge of life safety systems (fire panels, CCTV, elevators, access controls). Coordinate with client representatives, police and fire departments, and ensure daily/weekly reporting. Oversee staffing, training, payroll support, and effectiveness of security staffing plans, with emphasis on safety, customer service, and adherence to company policies. Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, background checks, driver’s license, and relevant security experience with management background; CPR/First Aid certification a plus.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma and/or equivalent
- Associates Degree
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 2 years prior experience in loss prevention, life safety, CCTV systems and access computer system
- One year (1 yr.) of which must be in the capacity of a management position within the Security Industry
- Valid Driver’s License
- Complete all licensing requirements as mandated by the State
- CPR and First Aid Certification a plus
