Job Summary
Assistant Security Director overseeing a security contract at Springfield Town Center. Responsible for managing accountability and performance of Supervisors and staff, and for the service and budget of assigned contracts. Establishes relationships with local police and fire departments, facility teams, and other stakeholders. Manages safety and security programs, ensures post orders are followed, conducts regular reporting, and coordinates staffing plans. Develops security procedures, stays current on life safety systems and CCTV operations, provides training to officers and shift leads, and collaborates with client representatives to ensure security requirements are met. Requires strong leadership, organizational skills, ability to manage payroll and reports, and a commitment to professional conduct and compliance. Also involved in scouting opportunities for service improvements and maintaining compliance with licensing and city/state regulations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma and/or equivalent
- Associates Degree
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 2 years prior experience in loss prevention, life safety, CCTV systems and access computer system
- One year (1 yr.) of which must be in the capacity of a management position within the Security Industry
- Valid Driver’s License
- Complete all licensing requirements as mandated by the State
- CPR and First Aid Certification a plus
