Job Summary
Assistant Security Director at Springfield Town Center responsible for managing a security contract, supervising Supervisors and staff, and overseeing performance, service, and budget. Establish working relationships with local police and fire departments, develop and implement security procedures, ensure post orders and rounds are followed, maintain logs and reports, train and lead security personnel, and ensure compliance with safety policies. Requires knowledge of life safety systems, CCTV, access control, and ability to manage payroll and client communications; strong leadership and customer-service orientation essential.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma and/or equivalent; Associates Degree
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 2 years prior experience in loss prevention, life safety, CCTV systems and access computer system
- One year (1 yr.) of which must be in the capacity of a management position within the Security Industry
- Valid Driver’s License
- Complete all licensing requirements as mandated by the State
- CPR and First Aid Certification a plus
