Job Summary
Assistant Security Director at Springfield Town Center with a $59,000 salary. Manages accountability of Supervisors and staff for assigned security contracts, overseeing performance, service and budget. Establishes relations with local police and fire departments and facility stakeholders. Ensures safety and security across the site, enforces post orders, conducts staff training, and maintains compliance with training and policies. Develops and implements security procedures, emergency policies, and reporting processes. Proficient in life safety, CCTV, and access control; coordinates with management for staffing, safety programs, and customer service excellence. Requires leadership, budgeting, and coordination with external authorities; roles include supervising security personnel, maintaining documentation, and ensuring regulatory adherence. CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma and/or equivalent
- Associates Degree
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 2 years prior experience in loss prevention, life safety, CCTV systems and access computer system
- One year (1 yr.) of which must be in the capacity of a management position within the Security Industry
- Valid Driver’s License
- Complete all licensing requirements as mandated by the State
- CPR and First Aid Certification a plus
