Job Summary
Assist in managing a security contract at Springfield Town Center; oversee accountability of Supervisors and staff, and assume responsibility for performance, service, and budget of assigned contracts. Establish working relationships with local police and fire departments, facility reports, and other stakeholders. Lead training for Security Officers and Shift Leads, ensure post orders are followed, and develop security procedures and compliance with facility policies, emergency policies, and applicable laws. Coordinate withOperations and management to ensure adequate security coverage, incident reporting, payroll and accounting duties, and continuous improvement of safety and security programs. Must be able to manage multiple tasks, communicate effectively with clients, and maintain professional composure in varied situations. Background in life safety, CCTV, and security operations with a valid driver’s license and licensing requirements is required; CPR/First Aid is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma and/or equivalent; Associates Degree
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 2 years prior experience in loss prevention, life safety, CCTV systems and access computer system
- One year (1 yr.) of which must be in the capacity of a management position within the Security Industry
- Valid Driver’s License
- Complete all licensing requirements as mandated by the State
- CPR and First Aid Certification a plus
