Job Summary
Assistant Secretary - Attendance at Gettysburg Area High School manages and maintains accurate student attendance records, oversees attendance tracking, data entry and verification, and reporting in accordance with district procedures and state requirements. Serves as the key point of contact for parents/guardians regarding attendance matters. Provides clerical and organizational support to the building administration and office staff by answering phones, greeting visitors, coordinating office communications, and assisting with general clerical duties. Maintains a high degree of professionalism and adheres to Gettysburg Area School District safety policies to create a safe work environment.
