Assistant Sales Manager - Room Sales at Sofitel Mumbai-BKC leads the hotel’s room sales strategy within the Sales and Marketing frame, collaborating with DOSM, Director of Revenue, and Account Managers to drive revenue and market share through direct and distribution channels, while managing client relationships (corporates, travel agencies, MICE) and promoting loyalty programs. The role emphasizes translating global Accor sales strategy into hotel-level execution, defining and implementing sales strategies, identifying opportunities, tracking market trends, and mentoring/shadowing junior team members to foster a high-performance sales culture.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of hotel sales experience
- Business or Hotel School / University degree
- Strong leadership and training skills
- Proficiency in English
- Experience with ANAIS, Excel, PowerPoint
- Distribution & Reservation systems
- Knowledge of sales strategy and revenue management
- Customer-focused and results-oriented
