Job Summary
Assistant Sales Manager at Marriott International supporting solicitation and handling of sales opportunities, leading day-to-day sales activities, and building long-term, value-based customer relationships to achieve personal sales goals. Project tasks include collaborating with off-property sales channels, developing relationships to expand the customer base, providing turnover to Event Management, participating in sales calls and producing proposals and contracts, and applying market knowledge to maximize revenue while delivering service excellence and guest satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 2 years experience in the sales and marketing or related professional area.
- 4-year bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; no work experience required
