Job Summary
Lead individual teams within the Sales department while focusing on customer and employee retention. Set the tone in a fun, upbeat environment and achieve success with our revolutionary sales process that creates a better motorcycle buying experience. Recruit, train, motivate, counsel, and monitor the performance of individual sales teams, assisting the General Sales Manager with hiring and firing. Track all customers in the CRM system, ensure leads are logged with effective follow-up, and monitor activity standards for prospecting calls, appointments, and closes. Participate in daily sales meetings, conduct training, and carry out daily one-on-one meetings with Fit Specialists for performance reviews and planning. Model and expect superior customer service, enforce dealership policies, and handle customer complaints with empathy. Ensure cross-selling of parts, financing, and service plans while closing deals and overcoming objections.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3-years auto or motorcycle sales experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent degree
- Ability to take initiative and problem solve
- Knowledge and experience with sales of Harley-Davidson motorcycles and other products sold by the dealership, or the demonstrated ability to quickly learn them
- Must have ability to relate with broad customer base
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to present oneself as well as the company in a professional manner
- Knowledge of applicable laws/policies/principles/etc.
- Must be computer literate and proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, along with general email/internet
- Attention to detail

- Experience with CRM and/or computerized inventory systems, or the ability to quickly learn
- Valid driver's license and motorcycle endorsement
- Requires the use of both hands
- Occasionally required to bend, stoop, crouch, reach, and lift 25lbs of material
- Requires standing and/or walking for extended periods of time
- Requires the ability to balance and push an 800+lb motorcycle
Desired Qualifications
- Auto or motorcycle sales management experience
- Applicable experience in big ticket retails sales
- Passion for the motorcycling lifestyle and riding community
- Experience using various Google Drive applications to include but not limited to Google Sheets and Google Docs
