Job Summary
Assistant Sales Manager responsible for assisting with soliciting and handling sales opportunities, ensuring timely turnover for service delivery, leading day-to-day sales activities, building long-term customer relationships, participating in sales calls, proposals, contracts, and events (e.g., entertainment, FAM trips, trade shows) to achieve personal and location revenue goals, and delivering exceptional customer service consistent with Marriott’s standards.
Required Qualifications
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 2 years experience in the sales and marketing or related professional area
- OR
- 4-year bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; no work experience required
