Job Summary
Assistant Sales Manager in Training responsible for supporting store leadership in achieving sales goals and developing sales staff. Responsibilities include recruiting, selecting, and orienting employees; training, motivating, mentoring, and providing feedback to staff; scheduling and assigning work; monitoring controllable expenses; ensuring legal compliance; maintaining store cleanliness and readiness; building customer relationships and loyalty; creating a positive team environment; addressing customer concerns; analyzing daily sales and expenses to maximize profitability; safeguarding cash handling and banking duties. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, strong verbal/written communication, retail/customer service experience, at least 1 year of supervisory experience, ability to influence others, ability to stand for long periods (7+ hours), ability to lift 25 pounds, and flexible availability including nights and weekends. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, or equivalent
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven experience in retail/customer service environment
- 1 year supervisory experience

- Must be able to lift 25 pounds without assistance
