Job Summary
Greet guests entering the office, determine visit purposes, and direct or escort them to destinations. Open, read, and prepare answers to routine letters; locate and attach files to incoming correspondence requiring replies. Take and distribute meeting minutes, handle and distribute incoming and outgoing mail, and create and maintain computer- and paper-based filing systems. Transmit information via computer, mail, or facsimile; prepare letters, memos, and documents using word processing, spreadsheet, or database software. Enter and retrieve information from computer databases to update records, files, and reservations, and answer inquiries from guests. Operate standard office equipment including telephones, fax machines, and photocopiers. Document and communicate all guest requests or complaints to appropriate personnel. Move and lift objects weighing up to 10 pounds. Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and support the team to reach common goals.
