Assistant Roofing Service Technician

Job Summary
Investigate and repair all types of low-slope commercial roofs in the Tampa/Brandon/Riverview area under the supervision of a Lead Service Technician. Develop skills to determine leak locations and common issues by roof system type while demonstrating safe working practices and operating service software to collect data for proposed scopes of work. Perform quality repairs with no callbacks, manage warranty and non-warranty repair types, and assist in snow and hurricane events. Must climb ladders, lift up to 80 lbs, and work outside in all elements including heat, cold, rain, and snow. Weekend or overnight travel may be required.

- Must be able to climb a ladder
- Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs
- Must be able to work outside in all elements (heat, cold, rain, snow)
- Ability to operate tablet and smartphone
- Weekend and/or overnight travel may be required
- Must pass be able to complete and pass pre-employment drug screening
Desired Qualifications
- Roofing knowledge and experience preferred
- Preferred experience in construction and/or working with hand tools
- Ability to obtain OSHA certification
