Job Summary
Monitor and manage daily salon operations in a fast-paced environment while leading Tanning Consultants to meet sales and productivity goals. Maintain an impeccably clean facility, establish clear objectives for team members, and provide coaching and feedback to improve daily performance. Generate sales reports, manage inventory, and assist the Salon Director in controlling revenue and labor costs. Help maintain proper staffing levels to ensure maximum productivity and excellent customer service. Work five days per week with a 40-to-45-hour schedule, including nights, Saturdays, and Sundays as required for management coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work nights as well as Saturdays and Sundays as required to provide management coverage.
- Has reliable ability and transportation to go to the bank as needed.
- Candidate should expect to work five days per week, and approximately a 40-to-45-hour work schedule depending on hourly or salary status.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
- Ability to bend at the waist to clean tanning equipment.
- Ability to lift or assist in lifting items and heavy boxes.
- Ability to bend down to pick up trash, towels, etc. from the floors.
- Ability to perform salon cleaning functions including dusting, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, etc.
- Ability to work independently and alone during shifts as business needs require.
Desired Qualifications
- College education preferred, but not required.
- Management and/or Sales experience preferred, but not required.
- Basic Computer skills (ability to use Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Ability to manage effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple situations simultaneously.
- Knowledge of client service techniques and operational practices.
- Problem-solving and organizational/planning skills.
- Strong leaderships skills, with the ability to coach and mentor while having knowledge of supervisory practices and procedures.
- Team building skills.
- Ability to prioritize and delegate.
