Job Summary
Direct restaurant operations by supervising food servers, bus-persons, and staff on schedules, service standards, and safety. Monitor food production quality, cost control, and inventory levels while ensuring sanitation compliance and facility maintenance. Manage guest interactions to resolve conflicts, gather feedback, and drive marketing efforts through menu ideas and trend analysis. Maintain consistent food quality and linen, glassware, and condiment supplies to support service. This exempt role offers $60,000 annually and requires one to three years of restaurant management experience, a high school diploma, and strong mathematical skills for inventory tracking.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- One to three years experience as a manager or assistant manager of restaurant operations
- Ability to obtain any government required licenses or certificates
- Ability to work entire shift standing and moving about in restaurants and kitchen area
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English language
- Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers
Desired Qualifications
- Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management
- CPR certification and/or First Aid Training
- Strong knowledge of Food & Beverage operations and preparation techniques
- Knowledge of Beverage operations and wines
- Excellent mathematical abilities in order to determine and track inventory, controls revenue productions, and other hotel financial statements
- Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy to defuse anger, collect accurate information and resolve conflicts
