Job Summary
Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the Restaurant General Manager in running shifts and maintaining Charter Foods standards. Will supervise Team Members and Shift Managers, manage inventory, and maintain financial accountability. Responsibilities include ensuring safe, timely service of quality food, guiding staff, and maintaining a safe environment for employees and customers. Location: Sissonville, WV. 50-hour work weeks. On-site role with in-person duties; no remote arrangement implied. Compensation described as hourly; benefits include health/dental/vision, disability, life insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid vacations, holidays, and advancement opportunities. Requires leadership, problem solving, and analytical/decision-making skills.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- 1-3 years of supervisory experience in either a food service or retail environment, including Profit and Loss responsibility
- 50-Hour Work Week
- High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required
- Basic computer literacy
- Must have reliable transportation
- Basic business math and accounting skills
- Able to sweep and mop floors, dust shelves, lift and carry out trash containers, and place them in an outside bin
- Able to clean the parking lot and grounds surrounding the restaurant
- Able to tolerate standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs., and stooping during 80% of shift time
