Job Summary
Assistant Restaurant Manager responsible for overseeing Front and Back of House Operations at an airport restaurant in San Jose (SJC), ensuring food quality and safety, controlling costs, and leading and developing the team. Responsibilities include merchandising, office management, forecasting and budgeting, problem solving, and maintaining systems and standards. Must have strong communication skills, experience working with executives and diverse teams, and a track record in conflict resolution. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree or relevant coursework preferred).
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of restaurant management experience in a full-service restaurant w/bar environment.
- Full-service restaurant management required, proficiency in MS Office and POS systems, and strong organizational abilities.
