Job Summary
Assist in the daily supervision of restaurant operations, contribute to menu planning and sanitation standards, and support servers/hosts during peak periods. Focus on guest and employee satisfaction, determine training needs and implement plans. Manages shifts, supervises department operations in the absence of the Director of Restaurants or Restaurant Manager, monitors beverage service compliance with local laws, helps achieve or exceed budgeted goals, coaches staff, conducts HR-related activities, and provides information to supervisors and colleagues. The role emphasizes leadership, service excellence, operations oversight, and employee development within Marriott International’s restaurant team in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; 4 years experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area.
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; 2 years experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area.
