Job Summary
Assistant Manager at Chuck E. Cheese leads a team to deliver guest-focused service in a high-energy family entertainment restaurant. You will make daily decisions around time management, staff scheduling, cleanliness, and upholding product and guest-service standards, while building sales and maximizing profits through recruiting, training, developing, and motivating the team to meet company and guest expectations. You will coach and inspire the team to deliver outstanding guest service, maintain a safe and clean environment, and manage cost-control procedures, inventory, financials, and labor. You’ll own an Area of Impact (AOI) across rotations in The Kitchen, Sales, Showroom, and Gameroom, overseeing product ordering, food safety, party execution, game-room operations, and profitability. Essential skills include Coaching and Developing Others, Effective Communication, Composure, Resourcefulness, Ethics and Integrity, and Time and Priority Management.
Required Qualifications
- High-school diploma or GED
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience managing people, preferably in food service
- Must be able to work 40 hours a week
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older (RVP approval may allow for hiring at the age permitted by local law for selling, ringing up, checking identification and serving alcohol)
- Essential job functions include standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and exposure to variable conditions
