Job Summary
The Assistant Restaurant Leader supports the Restaurant Leader in daily operations to uphold Raising Cane’s standards and culture. Responsibilities include hiring and terminating hourly crewmembers, owning onboarding and payroll processes for hourly staff, creating work and training schedules, managing performance, serving as manager on duty to open/close the restaurant, handling cash with accountability, enforcing policies, conducting shift-management meetings, deploying crewmembers, delivering exemplary customer service, recognizing and rewarding staff, approving employee functions, ensuring cleanliness and proper facility operation, and completing other duties as assigned. Requires detail-oriented, organized, and adaptable individuals with strong communication skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively; proficiency with Microsoft Office and quick adaptability to new systems; ability to work various shifts (days/evenings/weekends) and travel for work-related functions and training. Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of restaurant or retail management experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Possess a valid driver’s license
