Assistant Restaurant General Manager - Matador Restaurant and Bar

Lead daily outlet operations for the Matador Restaurant and Bar, overseeing quality, service, and staff performance while assisting in beverage program development. Execute food and wine promotions, monitor sales trends, and manage forecasting, budget management, and profit and loss accountability. Conduct inventory for par levels, establish methods for inventory control, and maintain proper tools, supplies, and dry goods. Supervise human resources activities including scheduling, hiring, training, mentoring, and annual performance appraisals for all staff. Manage proper staffing levels, labor costs, and controllable expenses while ensuring adherence to HACCP, OSHA, and regional Alcoholic Beverage Commission guidelines. Maintain policies and procedures, oversee equipment maintenance and cleaning, and enhance the guest service experience through creative initiatives.
