Assistant Residential Counselor (536)

Assistant Residential Counselor in a Residential Program providing services to adults with ID/DD. Responsibilities include direct care tasks (assistance with showering, toileting, shaving, and meal-time support), promoting health and safety in the residential environment, delivering education, training, counseling, and ISP-related activities to support functional academics, domestic skills, health and personal hygiene, social and leisure skills, communication, community mobility, self-esteem, and money management. Develop, write, and present ISP plans and semi-annual assessments in collaboration with staff and directors. Provide transportation to individuals as needed and communicate with families, guardians, and other stakeholders to ensure consistency of programming. Perform case management duties, maintain confidential files, document activities, and attend required meetings. Qualifications include experience with ID/DD, a high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, MAP certification preferred, and strong verbal/written communication skills.
