Job Summary
Assist the Resident Engineer on WP28 Sandakan Sabah by providing technical guidance and direction to Clerk of Works, coordinating with site personnel to align construction activities with drawings and quality standards, monitoring progress and mitigating delays, reviewing QA plans and HSSE manuals, evaluating method statements and traffic management plans, responding to technical inquiries from the WPC and design engineers, and maintaining project reports including Site Diaries, Monthly Progress Reports, QA/QC, HSSE, Routine Maintenance, Traffic Management Safety, and Incident Reports; verify WPC work for interim claims.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 12 years of proven working experience in construction site supervision
- Registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia
- Solid understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and quality assurance processes
- Knowledge of Malaysian construction regulations and safety standards
