Job Summary
Supervise all MEP construction activities for stormwater pumping stations, including pumps, valves, piping, electrical systems, instrumentation, and SCADA components. Review shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and inspection requests to ensure compliance with project specifications, contract requirements, and applicable codes. Coordinate with contractors, utility authorities, and client representatives while monitoring progress against approved schedules. Witness testing, pre-commissioning, and performance testing of pumping station systems to verify quality assurance and health and safety standards. This role supports major infrastructure delivery in Abu Dhabi for a digitally enabled solutions provider focused on defense, intelligence, and critical infrastructure markets.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related Engineering discipline
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in construction supervision of infrastructure projects
- Demonstrated experience in stormwater, wastewater, sewerage, water utility, or pumping station projects
- Strong knowledge of pumps, electrical systems, instrumentation, SCADA, and commissioning activities
- Excellent communication, coordination, reporting, and stakeholder management skills
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience on major stormwater infrastructure projects in the UAE
- Familiarity with Abu Dhabi authorities' standards and requirements
- Strong problem-solving and technical review capabilities
- Ability to effectively work within multidisciplinary engineering and construction supervision teams
