Job Summary
Marine Engineers - ARE to join a multidisciplinary engineering team in Abu Dhabi. Responsibilities include performing detailed engineering analysis and calculations for marine systems, propulsion systems, and structural components; gathering, correlating, and analyzing marine data; developing and reviewing technical drawings using CAD and marine design tools; conducting marine-system testing and performance evaluations; proposing innovative approaches to solve complex engineering problems; identifying discrepancies and recommending corrective actions; providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers; managing assigned engineering tasks within budgets and schedules; independently completing primary design elements and technical documentation for marine projects; ensuring compliance with maritime regulations and international standards (IMO, ABS, DNV) and organizational quality requirements; collaborating with project managers, clients, and stakeholders to meet project goals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
- 4+ years of professional experience in marine engineering, vessel design, or related maritime projects
- Proficiency in CAD software and marine design tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within team environments
- Valid professional identification and eligibility to work in the United Arab Emirates
