Job Summary
Support daily operations of a residential home by assisting individuals with daily living skills, communication, recreation, and community inclusion. Administer and monitor medications, coordinate medical appointments, and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with OPWDD and agency requirements. Supervise staff schedules and training, acting as shift leader and assuming leadership in the Residence Manager's absence. Assist in developing individualized service plans, nursing plans, and behavioral support strategies. Respond to behavioral or medical emergencies by implementing SCIP-R and crisis response strategies. Collaborate with families, advocates, clinicians, and staff to ensure holistic, individualized support.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of related experience
- One year of college coursework in human services or a related field
- CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain it
- SCIP-R Level I certification
- Valid driver's license
- Two years of driving experience
- Strong leadership skills
- Strong communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong documentation skills
- Ability to meet Lifetime Assistance Vehicle Operator requirements

- Familiarity with OPWDD regulations
