Job Summary
Supervise children and residents in recreational programs while enforcing rules, de-escalating conflicts, and instructing groups on sports rules. Organize holiday activities, implement scheduled events, and assist with the After School Program including study hours and socialization periods. Monitor compliance, submit monthly assessments and schedules, and maintain records for attendance, trips, and lessons. Prepare nutritious meals following USDA guidelines, manage portion controls, and ensure kitchen sanitation. Inventory and maintain recreational equipment for quarterly submission while planning activities within the budget.
Required Qualifications
- Two years of college
- One year of related experience
- High school diploma
- Two years of related experience (alternative to college)
- Knowledgeable of recreational activities in the community
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)
- Experience working with children of all ages
- Excellent communication skills
- Food Safety Certification
