Assistant Purchaser

Assist in developing and implementing procurement strategies that align with organizational goals, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery of goods and services. Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers and vendors based on capabilities, pricing, quality, and reliability; establish and maintain strong relationships. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure favorable terms; process purchase orders accurately and efficiently; coordinate with stakeholders to facilitate procurement. Support cost management initiatives by driving cost savings, conducting cost analysis, and identifying strategies to optimize spend. Ensure compliance with procurement policies and maintain proper documentation for audits. Collaborate with internal teams such as finance, operations, and project teams to understand procurement requirements and align with objectives. Perform other tasks as assigned.
