Job Summary
Support the review and development of Retail Protection products through market intelligence, competitor analysis, and internal stakeholder queries across Finance, claims, and underwriting. Produce clear reports and insight summaries to identify opportunities, prepare documents for product development approvals, and enable product launches via sales briefings and training materials. Monitor competitor activity using portals such as F&TRC and CI Expert while responding to distribution and internal team requests. Build knowledge in specialist areas including tax and trust over time. This role sits within the Product & Propositions Development team in Retail Protection, supporting c.12.8 million policyholders and workplace members with retirement and protection solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Good knowledge of Retail Protection products
- Strong analytical skills
- Confidence working with MI, Excel and data
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to produce accurate and well-structured information
- Curiosity and a genuine interest in learning how products, propositions and customer outcomes connect
- Ability to communicate clearly with different stakeholders across the business
- A proactive, organised and team-focused approach to managing varied work
- Confidence making practical recommendations from data, competitor insight or product information
