Job Summary
Assistant Property Manager at Villa Serena Senior Apartments in Mayfield Heights, OH. Supports Property Manager in maximizing occupancy and collections, coordinates leasing processes, compliance and financial administration, maintenance of applicant waiting lists, conducts marketing outreach to convert leads to rentals, processes applications and renewals, ensures resident satisfaction, handles rent calculations and payments, and uses property management software (Yardi). Requires associates degree or equivalent experience and experience with affordable housing programs (LIHTC/Section 8); strong communication, organization, leadership, and customer service skills; COS/CPO preferred; valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree or equivalent experience
- 2 years related experience/ proven track record in occupancy, leasing, APM role
- Experience with site based affordable housing programs strongly preferred if applicable
- COS and/or CPO Certification strongly preferred
- Multilingual skills strongly preferred
- Ability to use and communicate through email required
- Previous customer service experience
- Strong computer skills: including MS Office suite, Outlook, and property management software, Yardi strongly preferred
- Successful completion of a background check and drug screening required
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record required
