Job Summary
Manage day-to-day property operations by entering data into resident account receivable ledgers, assisting with records documentation, collecting rent, and processing bank deposits. Support the leasing process from initial application through move-in and respond to resident and visitor service requests. Collaborate with the Property Manager, Front Desk, and Maintenance teams to coordinate resident engagement and events, while adhering to complex regulatory requirements and local housing laws. May work outside normal business hours to address property needs. This on-site role at Mercy Housing empowers residents through affordable housing and inclusive community development.
Required Qualifications
- Strong understanding of HUD and Tax Credit experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to work outside normal business hours
Desired Qualifications
- One (1) year of administrative, office, accounting, or customer service experience
- Property management work experience and knowledge of applicable local and federal housing laws
- Knowledge of real estate property management applications
- Candidates with lived experience
