Job Summary
Assist and support the Property Manager in duties related to managing multi-family properties. Essential responsibilities include resident services (handling concerns, recording requests, preparing move-in/move-out materials, coordinating move-ins/move-outs, preparing newsletters and calendars), administrative duties (PO procedures, vendor payments, daily Yardi entries, rent collection and notices, reporting), leasing responsibilities (availability, rates, showings, renewals, credit/criminal/reference checks, marketing materials), and general site upkeep (snow removal, inspections, safety, housekeeping). Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent (some college preferred); proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel; knowledge of basic accounting; valid driver’s license and auto insurance. Working hours are full-time, typically Monday–Friday, 9:00 am–5:00 pm; benefits include health, FSA, dental, vision, life, disability, and 401(k); 9 paid holidays and generous PTO accruals.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Some college preferred
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Knowledge of basic accounting practices
- Knowledge of basic building maintenance procedures
- Possess the ability to deal tactfully with residents, owners, staff, other managers, vendors, and the general public
- Must possess a valid driver’s license, an acceptable driving record, and access to a vehicle and the state-mandated level of auto insurance
