Job Summary
Conduct daily leasing operations for an apartment community, including showing units, converting prospects to secured leases, and preparing lease paperwork. Manage the property budget, screen applicants via credit and reference checks, and handle move-in orientations and subleases. Oversee leasing office functions such as file maintenance, utility connections, and property inspections. Collect delinquent rent, process move-outs, and coordinate turnover scheduling. Monitor resident complaints, enforce guest card procedures, and address trespassers. Enter rent payments into MRI, maintain the availability roster, and promote social activities. Requires one year of leasing experience, a valid driver's license, and some weekend work.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One year of leasing experience in a computerized environment
- Outstanding sales ability
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Command of the English language
- Valid driver's license within the state of residency
- Proof of automobile insurance
- Must provide own transportation
- Some weekend work required
- Ability to supervise and motivate people
- Sales abilities
- Computer knowledge - Microsoft Word/Excel
