Job Summary
Liaise between ownership and residents by drafting communications and fostering positive relationships among tenants, management, and staff. Manage lease administration, data entry, and code processing for accounts payable and receivable while maintaining office files and compliance. Prepare monthly reports ensuring delinquency remains below 0.5% of GPR and coordinate move-in/move-out schedules, including insurance collection and security deposit refunds. Support the Property Manager with budget forecasting, building events, emergencies, and vendor coordination for renovations and lease enforcement. Provide after-hours on-call support and maintain competitive marketplace intelligence for resident retention. Maintain on-site presence throughout the building, navigating stairs and varying climates, with availability for weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of multifamily or assistant property management experience
- Proficiency in navigating computers and property management software, including Microsoft Office, On-Site, Elise AI, RentCafe and Yardi
- Technical knowledge of building operations and maintenance
- Understanding of marketing trends, budgeting, and reporting
- Valid NYS real estate license or ability to obtain one within the first 120 days of employment
- Work authorization
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturdays and Sundays)
- Must be present on-site, with the ability to move throughout the building
- Ability to ascend and descend stairs and be comfortable with exposure to varying environmental climates and circumstances
