Assistant Property Manager, Multifamily (Floating)

Job Summary
Manage day-to-day multifamily operations including maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, and collections. Assist the Property Manager with resident communication, conflict resolution, and team supervision through hiring, interviewing, and coaching. Track advertising effectiveness, evaluate client traffic, and ensure all company policies and procedures are followed across the on-site team. Complete lease paperwork, maintain resident files, and work with leasing staff to meet marketing goals. Travel between properties in varying weather conditions and perform any other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- High School Diploma, GED, Technical or Vocational school required
- 3+ years of Property Management experience
- 1+ years of Management experience
- Regularly required to travel outside between properties in varying weather conditions
- The employee may need to stand and walk for extended or continuous periods of time
- The employee must be able to ascend and descend staircases, ladders, and/or step stools
- The employee must be able to travel outside between buildings in varying outdoor weather conditions
- The employee must be able to travel up to 15% of the time
- The employee must demonstrate the ability to exert up to 25 pounds occasionally, and/or up to 25 pounds frequently, and/or up to 25 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects
- Computer literate, including Microsoft Office Suite and internet navigation skills
- General office, bookkeeping and sales skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Be able to manage a team
