Assistant Property Manager

Job Summary

Respond to tenant needs and coordinate lease administration activities including set up, changes, and reporting. Review vendor invoices for payment approval and manage data collection for operating expense reconciliations. Assist the Property Manager in preparing monthly reports, budget packages, and emergency response plans. Perform property inspections and coordinate tenant move-ins and move-outs. Drive results from direct reports through performance management and strategic guidance. This role supports operations across commercial, industrial, and retail properties for one of the nation's largest private real estate firms.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS)
  • 1-2 years of related experience
  • Currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
  • Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficiency with AP and CMMS systems
  • Experience with commercial office, retail, and industrial properties
  • Knowledge of financial terms and principles
  • Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages and discounts
  • Ability to conduct basic financial analysis
  • Strong to excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to convey topics with a positive tone to achieve operational and relationship objectives
  • Desire to lead and receive instruction on development of leadership skill set
  • Ability to build consensus in work groups
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to deliver timely results
  • 100% in-office
  • Working in office during standard business hours
  • No remote work or telecommuting
  • Performs monthly or more frequent property inspections
  • Travel to assigned properties as required

Desired Qualifications
