Job Summary
Manage multi-family residential community operations by assisting the District Manager with resident relations, customer service follow-ups, and supervising on-site personnel. Oversee bookkeeping functions including paying bills, processing A/P and A/R, reconciling ledgers, and handling delinquencies and collections. Support operational and financial goals through budget assistance, vendor communications, and preparing compliance reports. Train and mentor office staff while maintaining accurate records in systems like Yardi and Payscan. Conduct property inspections for quality control and perform administrative duties such as composing correspondence and traveling to regional locations.
Required Qualifications
- 2 or more years of residential property management experience
- supervisory experience
- Fair Housing certification
- valid driver's license
- ability to operate a company or personal vehicle or electrical cart
- availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, off-hours and emergencies, as required
- Knowledge of OSHA laws and regulations
- ability to travel to other regional locations for work, training, meetings and other work-related activities
Desired Qualifications
- supervisory experience preferred
- Proficiency and working knowledge of personal computers, keyboard, internet search, email correspondence, math, Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and other software applications
- experience with Yardi, Payscan
- Effective communication and interaction with management team, military partners, co-workers, vendors or residents
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and complete assigned duties to ensure operational objectives are achieved
- Must possess a positive and professional demeanour in all interactions, under all circumstances
