Job Summary

Ensures a safe and attractive living environment for residents; drives occupancy through on- and off-site sales and marketing activities; conducts showings and leases, manages lease renewals, collects rents, monitors delinquencies, and maintains records; provides direction in the absence of the Property Manager and supports resident services initiatives; prepares and distributes operational and financial reports; processes property expenses and assists with training and supervision as assigned; requires three years of property-management-related experience, a high school diploma or GED, COS/TCS certifications, strong English communication, and proficiency with Word/Excel.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum three years’ experience in property management, leasing, or a related field
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • NCHM COS (Certified Occupancy Specialist) & TCS (Tax Credit Specialist) Certification or equivalent certification from a nationally recognized compliance training program
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong organizational and follow up skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; ability to quickly master new applications
  • Ability to read and understand policies, procedures, safety notices, and general business correspondence
  • Possess and maintain timely and reliable transportation
