Job Summary
The Assistant Property Manager at Grove Station Tower is responsible for leasing apartments, greeting prospects, recording visits, demonstrating models, processing applications, and ensuring apartments are ready for move-in. The role involves managing resident records, collecting payments, maintaining financial accuracy, and providing general clerical support to the community office. The position requires strong communication and organizational skills, the ability to analyze information, and proficiency with various accounting and property management software. An Associate degree or equivalent experience is preferred, along with competency in mathematical reasoning and problem-solving.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree (AA or AS) from a four-year college or university; or one to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages.
- Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
- Knowledge of Accounting software; RealPage/Onesite software; Human Resource systems; Internet software; Inventory software; Order Processing systems; Payroll systems; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
