Job Summary
Assistant Property Manager handles rent posting/collections, delinquency management, move-out procedures, month-end reporting, and resident services while supporting property operations and leasing. Responsibilities include posting rent and deposits, processing application fees, assisting with renewals, collecting outstanding balances, filing eviction paperwork, updating occupancy in the system, and preparing month-end close reports (Occupancy month end, Accounting month end, SODA). May stand in for the Property Manager and may require weekend work. Emphasizes adherence to safety and Fair Housing policies. Strong emphasis on finance/accounting tasks, property operations, and customer service; requires proficiency with property management platforms (Yardi, Entrata, Yieldstar) and CRM tools, plus strong communication and organizational skills.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of experience as an assistant property manager in the multi-family industry
- Working knowledge of Yardi, Entrata, Yieldstar, CRM
- Property accounting, rent collection, eviction process, and delinquency
- Apartment leasing experience preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- May require valid driver's license and automobile insurance
