Job Summary
Address resident requests, complaints, and inquiries while drafting communications between ownership and residents. Foster positive relationships among tenants, management, and staff by conducting community inspections, coordinating move-in/out schedules, and processing security deposit refunds. Assist in analyzing income and expense patterns, preparing monthly reports with delinquency below 0.5% of GPR, and managing office supply inventory. Support lease administration, including conducting demonstrations, monitoring renewals, and enforcing notice requirements. Collaborate with maintenance on renovations, obtain vendor estimates, and conduct post-move-out walk-throughs. Be available for after-hours emergencies and work weekends. Valid NYS real estate license required or obtainable within 120 days.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of multifamily leasing and/or assistant community management experience
- Proficiency in navigating computers and community management software, including Microsoft Office, iLuvLeasing, On-Site, Elise AI, RentCafe and Yardi
- Technical knowledge of building operations and maintenance
- Understanding of marketing trends, budgeting, and reporting
- Valid NYS real estate license or ability to obtain one within the first 120 days of employment
- Work authorization
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturdays and Sundays)
- Must be present on-site and be able to move throughout the building to address community-related matters
- Ability to ascend and descend stairs and be comfortable with exposure to varying environmental climates and circumstances
