Assistant Property Manager

Job Summary
Assists the Property Manager with all aspects of operational procedures including the daily oversight of maintenance personnel; manages affordable housing waitlists; screens applicants for eligibility for tax credits (LIHTC) and/or Section 8; performs background/credit screenings on applicants; completes move-ins under LIHTC and S8 parameters; manages HQS inspections/repairs; oversees equipment repairs and status updates; maintains general building maintenance operations; tracks and schedules in-house resident maintenance as well as external vendor repairs; prepares and releases vendor work authorizations; maintains frequent resident engagement with timely follow-up; supports site teams on agency inspections (REAC, MOR, API); tracks vacant apartments and coordinates make-ready processes; reviews MOR report information related to collections, arrears, and bad debt; demonstrates proficient use of Microsoft Office and Yardi; emphasizes customer service and detail-oriented administrative management.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
