Job Summary
Assist the Property Manager in leading staff, collecting rent, issuing late notices, and initiating eviction processes. Generate renewal offers, draft leases, and inspect apartments prior to move-in. Input daily resident information from walk-ins, move-ins, and move-outs while ensuring units are move-in ready. Complete necessary paperwork and comply with local, state, and federal laws including Fair Housing regulations. Maintain a professional demeanor with owners, residents, and vendors while utilizing property management software and MS Office. Requires two years of multi-family management experience, knowledge of accounting and leasing, and proficiency in Entrata. Starting pay is $20.00 per hour for a day shift role.
Required Qualifications
- Must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship
- Valid driver's license preferred; Must have reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Must be a self-starter with excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills
- Must maintain courteous, helpful demeanor with owners, residents, prospective residents, co-workers, vendors, etc. Must always demonstrate professionalism
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred
- Two (2) years related experience in multi-family management role and/or leasing, sales and/or customer service background; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of multifamily property management practices and processes: Fair Housing laws and regulations, building and grounds maintenance, resident relations, leasing, rent collection, eviction procedures, accounting principles, property safety, and use of property management software
- Strong customer service abilities, and verbal / written communication skills
- Must be proficient in MS Office Suite including Word and Excel. Proficient in Entrata software
