Job Summary
Coordinate project documentation, manage subcontractor schedules, and process change orders and RFIs to ensure construction projects run on time. Assist the Project Manager and Superintendent with interpreting drawings, procuring permits, and monitoring bid packages while maintaining accurate project files for AIA change orders and submittals. Compose meeting minutes, distribute correspondence to clients and vendors, and prepare project billings from draws through completion. Support the team by mentoring Project Engineers, conducting safety inspections, and maintaining close-out documents for project completion.
Required Qualifications
- BS degree in Construction Technology, Engineering or other related discipline, or related experience in the construction industry
- Experience with Primavera Scheduling
- Experience with SureTrak
- Experience with MS Project
- Experience with Asta Powerproject
- Experience with CMiC
- Ability to work additional hours as necessary to meet business plan goals
- Ability to travel depending on project location
- Overnight stays may be necessary
- Must be able to sit and walk for 7+ hours
- Must be able to stand for 4-6 hours
- Must be able to drive 1-4 hours
- Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs. maximum
- Must be able to frequently lift/carry up to 25 lbs
- Must be able to use his/her upper extremities for repetitive simple grasping, pushing/pulling, and fine manipulation
- Must occasionally (0-33%) climb (including ladders, kneel, and/or crawl
- Must frequently (34-66%) squat at knees, reach above shoulders and use feet (foot controls)
- Must continuously (67-100%) bend at waist, and work at heights above 6 feet
